About the place

Soups are cooked every day, from tripe soup to beef soup and meatball soup. The menu has tochitură (pork stew), garnița boierului, chicken cooked in a cauldron with polenta, bulz (stuffed polenta balls) and grills, and for groups of pilgrims the kitchen prepares fasting and lacto-vegetarian menus.

Its own pastry shop, Sweet Cakes, is at the same address and makes papanași (doughnuts with sour cream and jam), homemade cakes and artisan ice cream. The restaurant also delivers, through its app or by phone. It is closed on Mondays.

Good to know

  • The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
  • If you come with a group of pilgrims, ask for the fasting menu in advance.
